1. What Arca is and who makes it
Arca is an inventory, point-of-sale and reporting service for businesses that sell products. It is used from the Arca app for iPhone and Android and, depending on the plan, also from a web browser. It is offered as a subscription.
The service is provided by the developer of Arca ("Arca", "we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us about your use of Arca; by creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
"Arca" is a trademark and the software belongs to its owner. The subscription gives you permission to use the service while it is active; it does not transfer ownership of anything to you.
This version replaces the one dated October 22, 2026.
2. Your account
To use Arca you need to create an account with a valid email address, or sign in with your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for your password and for whatever happens with your account.
You can invite other people to your team and assign them a role. What they do is recorded under their name, but the account — and what is done in it — is your responsibility.
You must be of legal age and have the authority to contract on behalf of your business.
3. Subscription and billing
The plans and their prices are those published on the pricing page and, inside the app, those the store shows before you pay. They are charged in Mexican pesos to businesses registered in Mexico and in US dollars to everyone else; the currency that applies to you is shown before you pay and does not change afterwards. Prices may vary by region.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period — month or year, whichever you choose — until you cancel it.
If you subscribe on the web, the charge is processed by Stripe with the card you register.
If you subscribe or upgrade your plan INSIDE the app, the charge is made by the store — App Store or Google Play — with the payment method on your Apple or Google account, and is also governed by that store's rules. The charge is confirmed at purchase, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the current period, at your plan's price at that time. Your subscription and its automatic renewal are managed from your Apple or Google account, not from here: deleting the app does not cancel anything.
Today, the plans you can subscribe to on the web or in the store include a 7-day free trial the first time. On the web it is offered only once per account; in the app, the store decides who is eligible under its own rules. The trial becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you turn off automatic renewal — or cancel, if you subscribed on the web — before it ends. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited when you subscribe.
If you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately; if you downgrade, it takes effect at the end of the period already paid. On the web, the current period is neither refunded nor discounted; on the App Store, Apple prorates the change within the same subscription group.
If a charge on the web fails, we will let you know and retry it for a few days before suspending the service. We do not cut off access at the first decline.
We may change prices by notifying you by email at least 30 calendar days in advance, and the new price applies at your next renewal. When the subscription belongs to a store, it is the store that asks for your consent in the cases where its policy requires it. You may cancel before then.
You already purchased and your plan does not appear: "Restore purchases", on the plans screen, recovers it as long as you are signed in to the same Apple or Google account you purchased with.
4. Refunds
What you bought in the app was charged by the store, not by us, and only the store can refund it. On iPhone, request it at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, from your Google Play order history. It is resolved under each store's policy.
What you subscribed to on the web was charged by us through Stripe: write to us and we will look into it.
Where the law of your country gives you a right of withdrawal or refund, that right is not affected by this section.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel whenever you want. There is no minimum term and no penalty. You cancel where you subscribed: if you paid on the web, from Settings → Plan; if you paid inside the app, from your subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play. That is a rule of the stores, not ours: a store subscription can only be canceled in the store.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for; until then you keep the full service.
After that date we keep your information for 90 days in case you decide to come back. After that period it is permanently deleted. You can also delete your account and all its content from the app itself, under More → Business settings → "Close the business". If you pay on the web, that cancels your subscription; if you pay through the App Store or Google Play and it is still renewing, you must cancel it in the store first.
When the paid period ends, your online store is no longer shown to the public.
Before canceling you can take everything with you: in Settings → General, "Save my store" downloads a file with your catalog, your full history, your sales and your customers. It is available on every plan, in addition to export to Excel and PDF.
6. Your data is yours
Everything you record in Arca — your catalog, your sales, your customers, your reports, the photos you take of your products — is yours. We only host it in order to provide the service to you.
We do not use it for anything else, we do not sell it and we do not share it, except as explained in the privacy policy.
You can export it at any time and ask us to delete it.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Arca for unlawful activities, attempt to access information belonging to other accounts, or interfere with the operation of the service.
The support chat is the only place where you send us anything in writing, so it comes with a condition: use it to ask for help with Arca. Do not send unlawful or offensive material, material that infringes the rights of others, or personal data of third parties that we do not need in order to assist you.
If you publish an online store, you are responsible for what you offer in it — products, prices, photos and descriptions —, for being legally able to sell it, and for the WhatsApp number orders are sent to.
We may suspend an account that breaches this, notifying you unless urgency or the law indicate otherwise.
8. Availability
We work to keep Arca available at all times, but we cannot guarantee there will be no interruptions: we depend on infrastructure providers, on the app stores and on your connection.
We may add, change or withdraw features, and we may stop offering the service. If we discontinue it, we will not charge renewals after that date. Reasonable maintenance and interruptions caused by a third party, by your network or by your device are not a breach of these terms.
9. What Arca is not
Arca is a management tool, not a tax or accounting advisor. The income statement it produces is PRELIMINARY and is calculated from what you enter and from the tax rate you define.
It does not take into account estimated tax payments, deductions you have not entered, losses from prior years or your tax regime. Before filing, consult your accountant.
The tickets and receipts Arca issues are internal records, not tax invoices (CFDI).
Arca is not a party to the sales you make through your online store or over WhatsApp: it does not charge for those orders, deliver them or guarantee them. The deal is between you and your customer.
10. Who owns what
Arca's software, its name, its brand, its design and everything that makes it up belong to us or to whoever licenses them to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on the devices you control, in accordance with the rules of the store where you downloaded it. It does not give you the right to copy, resell, decompile or lease it, or to create a service derived from it.
Your information — your catalog, your sales, your customers, your reports — is yours, as section 6 says. By using Arca you give us permission, solely, to host and process it as necessary to provide the service to you. Nothing more.
If you send us comments or suggestions, we may use them to improve Arca without owing you anything for it.
11. The service is provided "as is"
We do everything we can to make Arca correct and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is free of errors, that it will never be interrupted, or that it is fit for any specific purpose other than the one it describes.
You are responsible for reviewing your information and keeping copies, for which Arca gives you a full export at all times.
Nothing in this section excludes a warranty or a right that the law that applies to you does not allow to be excluded, including your rights as a consumer.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages or for lost profits — sales you did not make, earnings you expected — arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service.
This does not limit liability that by law cannot be limited, such as liability arising from willful misconduct. Where the law does not allow these limitations, they apply only to the extent it does allow them.
13. You are responsible for your use
If a third party makes a claim against us because of how you used Arca — for example, over your customers' data that you recorded without their consent, or for selling what you should not have — you will take responsibility for that claim and for what it costs us to deal with it, to the extent the law allows.
14. Force majeure
We are not responsible for failures to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control: failures of infrastructure or internet providers, power outages, natural disasters, acts of authority or similar events.
15. Apple
For the iPhone and iPad app, and only for it, you acknowledge the following:
These terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.
If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance or consumer protection claims.
If a third party alleges that the app infringes its intellectual property rights, it is we — not Apple — who are responsible.
You represent that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US government embargo or that has been designated as a country supporting terrorism, and that you are not on any US government list of restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance of them, have the right to enforce them against you.
16. Google Play
The equivalent applies to the Android app: these terms are between you and us, not with Google. Google does not provide the service, does not support the app and is not responsible for it; what it does manage is your subscription, its renewals and its refunds, under its own policy.
17. Changes to these terms
If we change something important, we will let you know by email or inside the app before it takes effect, and the date above will change. If you do not agree, you can cancel. Continuing to use Arca after the effective date means you accept the new version.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, without regard to their conflict-of-laws rules.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and you may go to the courts where you live.
19. Everything else
These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the service, and they replace anything else said about it.
If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid where you live, the rest remains in force, and that part applies to the extent the law allows and no further.
Our not enforcing something right away does not mean we waive the right to enforce it later.
You may not assign your account to a third party without our consent; we may assign the service, for example if Arca is sold or reorganized, and your rights do not change as a result.
